Gloria Jeanette Victory

Victory, Gloria Jeanette , age 78, of Mt. Juliet, TN died January 18, 2023. Jeanette was born in Mt. Juliet, TN and was the daughter of the late, Rufus McPeak, Sr. and Mildred Keele McPeak. She was a member of Christ Servants Baptist Church. Jeanette spent much of her career as a hairdresser. She was an avid reader, enjoyed playing games and listening to music. Jeanette was a huge Elvis fan. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Haskell Victory; her sister, Nancy Mooneyham and her brother, PeeWee McPeak.

She is survived by:

Son – James Edwin (Alice) Victory

Grandchildren – Matthew Victory, Brandon Victory and Lauren French

Great-grandchildren – Jeffrey, Preston, Wayland and Kylie

Several nieces and nephews

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, January 22, 2023 at Living Springs Baptist Church, 4559 Weakley Lane, Mt. Juliet, TN. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Saturday and one hour prior to service time Sunday at the church. Interment will follow at Mapleview Cemetery in Smyrna. Active pallbearers will be Matthew Victory, Brandon Victory, Keith “Bubba” Reed, Keith Monneyham. Sage Mooneyham, and Albry Mooneyham. Honorary pallbearers will be Dewayne Kessler, W.D. Edwards, JoJo Edmondson, Sammy Edwards, Ronnie Edwards, Terry McPeak and Jerry McPeak.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Living Springs Baptist Church or Aveanna Hospice.
