George Stephen Manspeaker

Manspeaker, George Stephen , age 86, of Mt. Juliet, TN died December 26, 2022. George was born in Nyack, NY and was the son of the late William Manspeaker and Rosalee Long Manspeaker. George served 26 years in the U.S. Air Force and retired as a Colonel on January 1, 1986.  He then worked for the Hughes Aircraft Company until he officially retired in 2000.  He was preceded in death by his siblings, William and Virginia.

He is survived by:

Wife of 62 years – Shelby Jean (Meeks) Manspeaker

Children – Stephen (Trish) Manspeaker, Robyn (Brad) Snyder and Scott (Kim) Manspeaker

Grandchildren – Tyler Manspeaker, Gracey Manspeaker, Megan Manspeaker, Morgan Manspeaker

and Gavin Manspeaker

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted 11:30 a.m. Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Bond Memorial Chapel.  Visitation will be 30 minutes prior to service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
