Frank Charles Yakes

Yakes, Frank Charles , age 78, of Mt. Juliet, TN died January 7, 2023. Frank was born in Denver, CO and was the son of the late Frank Yakes and Martha (Snapka) Yakes. Frank retired from Ford Motor Company after 35 years as a Product Design Engineer. He is remembered as an avid collector of stamps and coins, a lifelong learner of history, the neighborhood handyman, and coach. He was preceded in death by his sister, Camille (Yakes) Greenwald.

He is survived by:

Wife of 57 years – Dorothy Yakes

Sons – Michael (Scott Lam) Yakes, David (Beth Ann) Yakes and Jeffrey (Heather) Yakes

Sister – Marilyn (Nick) Haren

Grandchildren – Alexandria, Skyler, Kristopher, Hunter, and Leyton

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Bond Memorial Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Healthwell Foundation or the Co-Pay Relief Program.
