Faye Martin Perkins

Faye Martin Perkins , age 83, of Mt. Juliet, TN, passed away on March 23, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Putnam County, TN, on June 29, 1941, to Orville (Red) and Elizabeth Minnear.

Faye dedicated her life to caring for others as a nurse before retiring from St. Thomas Hospital. Her compassion and selflessness were evident in all that she did, and she was a beloved member of her community. Faye cherished her time with family and friends, creating lasting memories while offering love and support to those around her. She attended Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in Mt. Juliet, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Roy Perkins. Faye leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness and is survived by her sons, Keith (Telena) Martin and Chuck Martin; grandchildren, Alecia (Alex) Armstrong, Makayla Martin, Paige Martin, Cody Martin, and Cheyenne Martin; great-grandchildren, Tate Armstrong, Hadley Armstrong, and Wyatt Kelly; her sister Patricia (Alan) Smith; niece Kim (Dave) Kopaczewski; and nephew Christopher (Chrissy) Smith.

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Bond Memorial Chapel in Mt. Juliet, TN. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM, with Reverend Rodney Duckett officiating. Burial will occur immediately following the service at 1:00 PM at Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery 800 W Jackson St. Cookeville, TN 38501.

Faye will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her. May her memory be a blessing.
