Dye, Dorothy Ann “Dot” , age 90 of Mt. Juliet, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025. Dot, affectionately known as “BooBoo” leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth. An avid bowler, she spent many years at Hermitage Hills Bowling Lanes, enjoying the sport and the friendships it brought. She found joy in fishing and traveling with her beloved husband, making memories along the way. Dot also cherished her time as a volunteer at Nashville International Airport, where her friendly nature shined as she met and talked with travelers. Above all, she was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and sister, whose love and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed. She is preceded in death by her parents, Willis and Myrtle Crawford, her husband, Freman Dye, a daughter, Patty Clinard, and 4 sisters and 1 brother.

She is survived by:

Daughter – Karen (Pat) Waller

Sisters – Marlene (Sam) Alford and Susan Crawford

Grandchildren – Christy Waller, Shanna (Shane) Ray, and Ronnie (Kristin) Clinard

Great Grandchildren – Caden Waller, Cody (Danielle) Ray, Dawson (Allie) Ray, and Dylan Clinard

Great-great Grandchildren – Mailee Ray, Charlee Ray, and Palmer Ray

A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Eastview Cemetery in Camden, Tennessee. The Pallbearers will be Caden Waller, Cody Ray, Dawson Ray, Dylan Clinard, Ronnie Clinard, and Shane Ray. Visitation will be held on Thursday February 13, 2025 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Bond Memorial Chapel.
