Greenwood, Donna Jean, formerly of Mt. Juliet, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on Sunday, January 25, 2026 in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Donna was born in Buford, Georgia to the late Victor and Estelle Roebuck. Donna was a member of First Baptist Church of Mt. Juliet for more than 45 years, where she taught children’s Sunday School. She was also a proud member of the John B. Garrett, Order of the Eastern Star where she found joy in fellowship and service. In her spare time, she was an avid reader, treasuring quiet moments with a good book. Donna was also preceded in death by her husband, Gene Leonard Greenwood, daughter, Pamela Greenwood Bobo, and sister, Patricia Ann Murdock.
She is survived by:
Grandchildren – Michael Salimbene and his wife Stephanie and Heather Bobo Lynn and her husband Matthew.
Great Grandchildren – Kyla, Faeryn, Aella, Ryan, Kaden, Bryson, Lily, and Chrislynn.
Niece – LuAnn Green and her husband Mike Green and their children Dale and Caroline.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 1, 2026 at Bond Memorial Chapel conducted by Bro. Billie Friel and Bro. David Fallin. Interment will be in Gwinnett Memorial Park in Lawrenceville, Georgia on Monday, February 2, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. E.S.T. conducted by Bro. Richard Sims. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 – 2:00 at Bond Memorial Chapel.
