Walker, Jr., David Emmett , age 96, of Nashville, TN and formerly of Mt. Juliet, TN died July 18, 2022. Emmett was born in Nashville, TN and was the son of the late, David Emmett Walker and Birdie Pauline Bracy Walker. He was a sergeant in the U.S. Army serving in WWII and a 50 year member of American Legion Post #88. Emmett was an entrepreneur, starting and running his own business, for 25 years. He coached Little League in Mt. Juliet and Tusculum for 16 years and was an avid golfer, who over the years, was able to get 4 Hole in Ones. Emmett was also preceded in death by his son, Ralph Emmett Walker and siblings, Charles Edward Walker, Roberta Ellis and Nancy McNeese.

Children – John Craig (Mary Helen) Walker, Paul Robin Walker,
Maryde (Cathy Brewer) Arnold, Jerre Thomas (Lynne) Maynor and
Sheila Lynn (David) Dea
10 Grandchildren and 12 Great-grandchildren
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, July 22, 2022 at Bond Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at 1 p.m. Friday at Salem Cemetery in Liberty, TN. Active pallbearers will be Jason Walker, Michael Walker, Jerry Maynor, Jr., Gavin Dea, Chris Vance and Glynn Arnold. Honorary pallbearers will be Eddie George, Glen Bubel, Roy Heil, Steve Brower and Guy Parrish.
Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
