Dave Gares

Gares, Dave , age 63, of Mt. Juliet, TN passed away on August 11, 2024.   Dave was born July 9, 1961, to Bobbie Gares and the late Walter Gares in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He was a Christian, a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many. Dave graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics with a degree in Aviation Mechanics and Electronics. After graduation he began his career as an aircraft mechanic for American Airlines and obtained his pilot’s license. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on cars, fixing anything that needed fixing, and spending time with family. He was a selfless, kind, and generous man, with a heart, of gold who would always go above and beyond to help anyone in need. Dave is dearly missed by his family, his friends, and all who knew him.

Mother – Bobbie Gares of Rawlings,  Maryland

Wife of 40 years – Nancy Reed Gares

Son – Christopher (Amanda) Gares

Daughter – Kelsey (Cody) Pentecost

Brother – Leonard (Fiona) Gares

Sisters – Kathi (Howard) Herbert

Grandchildren – Aria, Tristan, and Edith Gares

There will be a time of visitation with the family on Friday, August 16, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. at Bond Memorial Chapel.
