Crystal Marie Hunt

Crystal Marie Hunt, born on February 6, 1985, in Nashville, Tennessee, left this world on August 20, 2025, leaving an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Crystal embodied the spirit of a devoted stay-at-home mom, dedicating her life to nurturing and loving her children. They were, without a doubt, her greatest treasures.

With a personality as vibrant as a painter’s palette, Crystal was known for her strong opinions and unforgettable presence. Her dark humor and candid nature made her the life of any gathering; she could engage any listener and could talk the paint off the wall, ensuring that there was never a dull moment in her company. She was colorful, unfiltered, and possessed a  charm like no other!

While she often playfully claimed to be an Alabama fan, her loyalty to the team was somewhat tongue-in-cheek. Nevertheless, she loved to cheer for them with the same enthusiasm she applied to all her passions, whether it was expressing her fondness for animals and horses, her love of makeup, or immersing herself in her favorite movies and TV shows. These interests reflected her incredible zest for life and her unique personality. 

Crystal was preceded in death by her parents, Gary and Lola Hunt, and her grandmother, affectionately known as "Gran-Gran." Their memory will forever remain a part of her legacy.

Crystal leaves behind her loving fiancé, Justin Abaya, who stood by her side through thick and thin. This past July 11 marked sixteen loving years together. She is survived by her beloved children, son Cameron (Abbie) Moravec and daughter Carlie (Matthew) Nickles, along with her cherished grandchildren, Davis Moravec and Adalyn Nickles. They will carry her spirit and the love she poured into their lives on for generations to come. 

Crystal Marie Hunt will live on in our hearts and memories, she will continue to be the unforgettable soul whose love knew no bounds, and whose laughter resonates in the stories we tell and the lives she touched.

A memorial service for Crystal will be held on Wednesday August 27, 2025 at 4:00 PM at Bond Memorial Chapel in Mt. Juliet. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until the service at 4:00PM.
