Watson, Catherine Hudson, more affectionately known as “Nana”, age 69, of Mt. Juliet, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, March 19, 2026. Cathy was born in Nashville in 1956 to the late Ivo and Mary Dillion. She graduated from St. Bernard Academy before attending and graduating from Middle Tennessee State University. Cathy retired after 35 years with AT&T and was a longtime member of St. Edward's Catholic Church. As the matriarch of her family, she was loving, caring, and friendly to everyone she met. Cathy's door was always open to family, friends, or anyone who needed a place to go. Her kindness extended far beyond her home, as she was an active member of her community. Her passions included gardening, traveling to the beach, and being an avid supporter of her children and grandchildren. Cathy was a devoted sports fan with a deep love for both the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Vanderbilt Commodores. She adored Christmas and had a special gift for making it feel magical, filling the season with cherished traditions, warmth, and joy for everyone around her.

Brother – Joe Dillon
Sisters – Mary Elizabeth Hutchison & Trisha (Phil) Blackburn
Grandchildren – Gabriella (Trevor) Makarov, Gianna Faccadio, Charley Gribble, Koen Gribble, Hudson Young, Nova Young
Great-Grandson – Baker Makarov
Catherine was preceded in death by her parents Ivo and Mary Dillon, her brother Butch Dillon, and former Husband Tommy Hudson.
A funeral mass for Catherine will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Edwards Catholic Church. Visitation will be held on Wednesday March 25, 2026 from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Bond Memorial Chapel. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kyle Gribble, Du’Vall Young, Trevor Makarov, Tanner Simms, Alan Jones, Ray Watson, Vicki Dillard, Cheryl Fuqua.
