Bobby Lee Wright

Wright, Bobby Lee , age 91, of Lebanon, TN, died March 1, 2019. Mr. Wright was a member of Green Hill Church. He was a former Lieutenant with the Tennessee Highway Patrol and an aide for Governor Frank G. Clement. Mr. Wright later went on to own several small businesses. He was one of the founders of the Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway. He loved buying, selling, repairing and racing cars and he loved animals, especially dogs and horses and Noah, the cat. Mr. Wright was the son of the late, Jesse Raby Wright, Sr. and Mary Lee Johnson Wright. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Hutchison Wright; siblings, Nancy Petty and Jesse Wright, Jr. and his aunt, Elizabeth Johnson Wright.

He is survived by:

Daughters – Barbara (Phillip) Sisk and Maryann (Clyde) Hicks

Grandchildren – Trent Lyda, Todd (Jen) Lyda, Aaron Hicks and

Haley (John) Charlton

Graveside services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Phillip Sisk, Clyde Hicks, Trent Lyda, Todd Lyda and Aaron Hicks.
