Benjamin Ryan Blumhardt

June 18, 2025 — October 2, 2024

Benjamin Ryan Blumhardt of Hull, GA, formerly from St. Charles, Illinois, peacefully transitioned on Wednesday October 02, 2024.

Benjamin, or Ben as loved ones called him, was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota on October 5, 1983, to Douglas and Deborah Blumhardt. After joining the United States Air Force, Ben relocated to the state of Georgia where he met and married his beautiful wife, Nakeesha. Benjamin continued his service in the United States Air Force until his medical retirement in 2007 just before the birth of his first daughter Ava Catherine Marie. Nakeesha and Ben would go on to welcome two more loving children, Benjamin Joshua Ian, and Isabelle Ashley Lynn, making their family complete.

After retirement, Benjamin obtained his associate’s degree in marketing management from Middle Georgia Technical College with aspirations of working in the transportation industry.  Dedicated to his goals, Benjamin went on to obtain his CDL license and began his transportation career with CR England Incorporated. After starting his career within the transportation industry, Ben successfully purchased his own commercial truck and opened” Blumhardt Transport” as the sole owner and operator.

In his spare time Ben enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and genuinely embraced everyone he encountered with open arms. He had a prodigious love for nature and animals, and truly felt at peace when outdoors. Benjamin was preceded in death by his mother Deborah Blumhardt. Survivors include his wife Nakeesha, daughters Ava and Isabelle, and son Benjamin. Father Douglas Blumhardt (Marilyn), siblings Andrew Blumhardt (Heather), Jonathan Blumhardt, Daniel Blumhardt (Rebecca), Jordan Blumhardt, and Anna Blumhardt. Ben is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made toward funeral expenses, to help support the family during this difficult time.
