Barbara Howard Horton

Horton, Barbara Howard , age 84, of Mt. Juliet, TN passed away June 12, 2022. Barbara was born in Chattanooga, TN., graduated from Ooltewah High School. Barbara moved with her young family in 1962 from Chattanooga to Nashville. After retiring, Barbara and Phillip moved to Daytona Beach, FL., where they lived until 2012. Then they moved to Mount Juliet, TN. Barbara loved spending time with her children, grandchild, and great grandchildren. She would rather go boating with her family than do anything else. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Phillip Morris Horton, parents Alva W. Howard & Vera Mae Posey Howard, sisters- Elizabeth Howard Sandidge & Doris Sue Howard McDonough, all of Chattanooga, TN.

She is survived by:

Children - Timothy (Teresa) Horton of Antioch, TN; Kenneth (Tyra) Horton of Boca Raton, FL

Grandchild- Daniel (Rachel) Horton of Mount Juliet, TN

Great grandchildren- Hannah, Sophia, Olivia, and Emilee Horton

Many nieces and nephews

At Mrs. Horton’s request her remains will be cremated and no services are planned.
