Annie Elizabeth Highers Elledge

Elledge, Annie Elizabeth Highers , age 99, of Hermitage, TN, died August 7, 2024. Annie was born on July 22, 1925, in Nashville, TN and was the daughter of the late Eugene Lorent Highers and Nettie Henrietta Seat Highers. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Gordon Bert Elledge. A devoted member of the Assembly of God, she found profound joy in serving her church community. Her dedication to helping children was evident in her service in the children’s church. Annie was also a cancer survivor, and her strength and resilience inspired those around her.
She is survived by Kathy Bradford, who was like a daughter to her. She is also survived by several cousins who loved her dearly.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday August 10, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. at Bond Memorial Chapel with visitation from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Annie will be interred at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. Memorial contributions may be made to The Gideons International or to Alive Hospice.
