Anita Gertrude Eldred

Eldred, Anita Gertrude , age 87, of Antioch, TN died May 4, 2022. Anita was born in Allen, Mississippi to the late, Frank Lessing and Loriane Varnado Lessing. She was a member of Christ Servants Baptist Church. Anita has held leadership roles in the FFC Women and the UT Extension Service in Sumner County. She enjoyed gardening and arranging flowers and was a wonderful cook.

She is survived by:

Husband – Reverend Timothy Eldred

Children – Donna (Larry) Clark, Lisa Mathis, Darryl (Eva) Eldred, Michael Eldred and

Vickie (Ted) Frels

Sister – Doris Johnson

12 Grandchildren and 16 Great-grandchildren

Funeral services will be conducted 4 p.m. Monday, May 9, 2022 at Bond Memorial Chapel.
