Alma Yvonne Derryberry

Derryberry, Alma Yvonne , age 83, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died May 31, 2024.  Alma was born in Joelton, TN and was the daughter of the late, Lee Proctor and Elizabeth Bolton Proctor. She was a long-time member of Mt. Juliet Church of Christ. Alma was also preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Lentz Derryberry and siblings, Betty Krantz, Dorothy Brown, Mary “Lottie” Segerson, Ruth “Bootsie” Barfield, Irene Brown, Velma Louise Knauss, Joetta Reymore and Wesley Proctor.

She is survived by:

Son - Scott Derryberry

Granddaughter – Syndle (Jonathan) Musselwhite

Nieces – Debbie (Mike) Martin, Brenda (Bill) Hughey and Nancy (Sonny) Cox

Nephews – Freddie (Betty) Knauss, Billy Brown, Jr. and Ricky (Vicky) Farliss

Ever present companion – Velma Louise

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, June 6, 2024 at Bond Memorial Chapel with Craig Evans officiating. Interment will follow at 1 p.m. at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mike Martin, Duran Guy, Paul Keener, Billy Brown, Jr., Craig Wiley and Austin Ainsworth.
