Mallard, June Hillard Bohanan, age 86, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died March 1, 2020. Mrs. Mallard was born again into the Kingdom of God at age 12 and has sought to serve the Lord every day since. She was a member of Whitworth Baptist Church under Pastor Pete Darnell. Mrs. Mallard was a graduate of Hume Fogg High School and an employee of Blue Bell Boots for 15 years. She was known for her witty sense of humor and her love of family. Mrs. Mallard was the daughter of the late, Willard and Catherine Elliott Bohanan. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George Mallard; daughter, Lydia Duronslet and grandson, Jay Mallard.
She leaves to celebrate her journey into Heaven:

Elkins, Barbara Love “Bobbie”, age 89, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died March 2, 2020. Mrs. Elkins enjoyed music, dancing and shopping. She was very involved with AWANA. Mrs. Elkins was the daughter of the late, Raymond and Jane Sowers Love.

Rohtert, Beverly Wylene, age 73, of Lebanon, TN, died March 4, 2020. Wylene was a hairdresser in the Mt. Juliet area for many years. She was a former employee of Thomas Nelson Publishing Company and was retired from the State of Tennessee. Wylene was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Harvey Freeman Chapter #181. She enjoyed quilting, sewing and western movies. Wylene was the daughter of the late, Wiley T. and Bessie Johns Williams. She was preceded in death by her brother, Wiley Thomas “Tommy” Williams and aunt, Louise Johns Hollan.

Griffin, Patricia Ann, age 71, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died March 9, 2020. Mrs. Griffin was a custodian at Rutland Elementary School. She enjoyed cleaning, gardening, crafts, puzzles and games. Mrs. Griffin also enjoyed the beach, flowers and fish. She was the daughter of the late, Wendell and Marjorie Huffman Daugherty. Mrs. Griffin was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Ashley Bean.

Tidwell, Larry Douglas “Doug” “Buzzard”, age 67, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died March 9, 2020. Doug was a former employee of Wilson County Co-op. He enjoyed fishing, old war movies and sports. Doug was the son of the late Wilbur Douglas and Evelyn June Long Tidwell.

Hans, Michael Gordon, age 41, of Old Hickory, TN, died March 11, 2020.
Michael was a member of Balm of Gilead Church. He enjoyed cars, was a NISSAN fanatic and worked in the Paint & Body Industry for many years. He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon Hans and his step-mother, Caroline Galloper Hans.

Winchester, John Luther, age 73, of Mt. Juliet, TN, transferred his membership from Cooks United Methodist Church to his heavenly home with Jesus Christ on March 15, 2020. John served in the U.S. Air Force after graduating from Georgia Military Academy (“for the good of South East, Missouri”) and obtained his BS degree at Memphis State University, where he was a member of Sigma Chi. He served as First Lieutenant of the Officer’s Club during the Vietnam War, as his hearing loss prevented him from his desire to become a pilot. After moving to Mt. Juliet, John became a Boy Scout leader. Under his leadership, 14 young men became Eagle Scouts, including his son, Luke. He remained involved in the Boy Scouts and received the Good Scout of America Award in March of 2017. John was actively involved in the American Red Cross, Christian Men’s Fellowship and Walk to Emmaus, until his health no longer allowed. For more than 30 years, he was the owner of ComCo-One World, Inc. and Winchester Company of Tennessee, both a commercial equipment finance business. During his career, John served on the Board of National Association of Equipment Leasing Brokers for over 10 years. He was the first Tennessean to pass the test and obtain the title of Certified Lease Professional. John loved his community and stayed actively involved as a volunteer in many events and needs when possible. He was a longtime member of the Mt. Juliet Chamber of Commerce and was honored to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2012. John was a member of the Mt. Juliet Breakfast Rotary Club and the Friday Morning Men’s Prayer Group at Hermitage Golf Club. He was the son of the late, Luther and Sally Burke Winchester.

Kingsley, Debra Marie, age 65, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died March 20, 2020. Deb was a native of Minneapolis, MN and had recently relocated to Mt. Juliet from Plummerville, AR. She was a veteran of the U.S. Air force. Deb enjoyed cooking, fishing, e-books and classic country music. She was a tie-dye artist and a world traveler. Deb was the daughter of the late, Lloyd and Marilla Dodds Schaefer.

Raymond, Scott Alan, born August 1st, 1960 was called home to Heaven on March 26, 2020 at age 59. There he found waiting for him, his son Jacob and his parents Kay and Gordon.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 38 years Kim. His son Adam; daughter in law Shauna; grandson Enzo; faithful dog Mia and numerous close family and friends. They remain to carry on his legacy. Scott lived a wonderful life, and those who shared it with him are truly blessed.

Goodall, George Michael “Mike”, age 66, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died March 30, 2020. Mike was a member of Greenhill Church of Christ. He was a 1973 graduate of Mt. Juliet High School. He was employed by Ford Glass Plant for 10 years and later retired from Nissan. After his retirement, he worked for Bond Memorial Chapel. Mike enjoyed riding his Harley, boating on Old Hickory Lake and stock car racing. He was preceded in death by his father, George Van Buren Goodall and his infant son, Thomas Anthony Goodall.

Nelson, Robert Denton, age 73, of Mt. Juliet, TN and formerly of Port Huron, MI, went home on March 31, to be with the Lord from his earthly home with his wife and children by his side. Mr. Nelson was a member of Generation Changers Church at Stewarts Ferry Pike and was the former manager of the Hermitage Walmart Tire and Lube Department. He enjoyed bowling, golf, music and grilling. Mr. Nelson retired from Mueller Brass with 37 years of service and managed youth baseball teams during his time in Michigan. He was the son of the late, Donald Norton and Bernice Alpha Edwards Nelson. Mr. Nelson was also preceded in death by his siblings, Sharon Zandi, Charlene Woody, Don Nelson and Deanna Hamilton and his father-in-law, Andrew Langolf.
