Reagan, Paul Elmer, age 83, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died August 14, 2018. Mr. Reagan was a native of Gatlinburg, TN and earned his Associates degree for East Tennessee State University. He was a 32 degree Mason.  Mr. Reagan was the son of the late, Charles Elmer and Margart Parton Reagan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbye Reagan; son, Charles E. Reagan; granddaughter, Misty Frazer; brother, Charles Elmer Reagan, Jr. and sisters, Charlotte Huffman and Catherine Giles.

He is survived by:

Children – Mike (Peggy) Reagan, Kimberly Scott and Diana Sherwood

Sisters – Virginia (Ray) Ogle and Esther (Eddie) Compton

Grandchildren – Lance Rippy, Ducas Frazer, Andrew Frazer, 

                       Sabrina Applewhite, Mike Reagan, II, Paul Reagan, 

                       Linda Gayle Reagan, Curtis Reagan and Jason Bratcher

Great-grandchildren – Landon Rippy, Alexis Reagan, Karissa Reagan, 

                               Brock Frazer, Madeline Frazer, Sidney Olivia Frazer, 

                               Theodore Alexander Frazer, Layton Cole Rippy, 

                               Maverick Connell Reagan and Andrew Bratcher

 

Funeral services will be conducted 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Bond Memorial Chapel with William Wiley officiating. 

 

Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Green, Kenny Carter, Curtis Reagan, Paul Franklin Reagan, Michael Reagan, II, Jason Bratcher, Ducas B. Frazer, Lance K. Rippy, Steve Bagwell and Lanny Rippy.

Stansbery, Tammy Zelnar, age 52, of Mt. Juliet, TN,died August 17, 2018. Tammy was a member of Cooks United Methodist Church and a realtor. She was preceded in death by her father, John David Zelnar and her son, Michael Lane Stansbery, Jr.

She is survived by:

Husband – Michael L. Stansbery

Mother - Irene R. Tilghman

Daughter – Michelle (Austin) Holtgraewe

Siblings – Mike Zelnar, Lisa Zelnar and Tracy Zelnar Barth

Uncle – Bill Lancaster and the Zelnar, Lancaster and Lucas families

 

Funeral services will be conducted 6 p.m. Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Cooks United Methodist Church, 7919 Lebanon Road, Mt. Juliet, TN with Pastor Sandra Clay officiating. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in Tammy’s name to Taps, Gilda’s Club, Lung Cancer or Cooks United Methodist Church.

 

Visitation will be at the church from 4-7 p.m. Monday and one our prior to service time Tuesday.

Leonard, John Edward, age 90, of Goodlettsville, TN, died August 23, 2018. Mr. Leonard was a member of Robertson County Church of Christ. He was a former church elder and song leader. Mr. Leonard retired from Aladdin Industries after 36 years of service. He also was employed by CareLine. Mr. Leonard loved to hunt and fish. He loved being with family and serving God. Mr. Leonard was the son of the late, John Melvin and Lula Belle Bean Leonard. He was preceded in death by his wives, Lela Mai Keele Leonard and Dorothy Huffines Leonard. Mr. Leonard was also preceded in death by his son, Douglas Leonard; step-daughter, Vicky Hackney; brothers, Kendall, Ray, James and Charles Leonard and sisters, Dorothy Parker, Mary Barrett, Elise Haynes, Ethyl Leonard and Grace Baird.

 

He is survived by:

Children – Patricia Holt, Ruth Leonard, Doug Huffines and

               Dwight (GiGi) Huffines   

Sister – Rebecca Leonard

Grandchildren – Jennifer (Jason) Bussell, Gregory (Laura) Turner,

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, August 26, 2018 at Bond Memorial Chapel with Bro. Robbie Caton officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Doug Huffines, Dwight Huffines, Gregory Turner, Jason Bussell, Stephen Fox and Ricky Head. Honorary pallbearers will be nieces, nephews, cousins and the members of Robertson County Church of Christ.

Fox, Ralph Edward, age 83, of Hermitage, TN, died August 24, 2018. Mr. Fox was a member of Mt. Juliet Church of Christ. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in agriculture from Tennessee Technological University, served in the National Guard for 6 years and was retired from Tennessee Farm Bureau. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening and UT football. Mr. Fox was the son of the late, James Homer and Anna Mae Hodges Fox.

 

He is survived by:

Wife of 58 years – Rosemary Estes Fox

Daughters – Annette Fox Moore and Amy Fox (Donald) Hosse

Twin brother – Ray Russell (Greeta) Fox

Grandchildren – Patrick Scott Moore, James Thomas Moore,

                               Anna Mae Hosse and Ella Cordray Hosse

Taylor, Kenneth Ray, age 81, of Old Hickory, TN, slipped peacefully from this life on August 28, 2018. Ray loved his family, traveling, mowing lawns and assisting his elderly neighbors. He was the son of the late, Iver Bernard and Susie Moise Taylor. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Bobby Taylor and Harris Taylor and his beloved sister-in-law, Dolores Taylor.

Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Friday, August 31, 2018 at Bond Memorial Chapel with Bro. August Ruff and Bro. Wayne Miller officiating.

 

Interment will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Union Cemetery in Dickson, TN. Active pallbearers will be T.J., Tyler, Dustin, Cody, Josh and Troy.

The family would like to thank the staff of Amedisys Hospice for the loving care that they gave to Ray and the family.
