Stubblefield, Ophelia Chapman “Opie”, age 92, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died March 3, 2014. Mrs. Stubblefield was a member of Gladeville Baptist Church. After retiring from Rand McNally Printing Company, she enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. Mrs. Stubblefield loved life, singing, playing bingo and spending time at Enchanting Shores Co-op in Naples, FL. She loved our Lord and her family with all her heart and will be greatly missed. Mrs. Stubblefield was preceded in death by her father, Jesse Lancaster and mother, Pearl Lancaster Summers. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Hack Subblefield; great-grandson, Tyler Russell; sister, Clara Renfro and brother, Gene Lancaster.

 

She is survived by:

Daughter and Son –in-law – Becky Chapman Russell and Billy Russell

Son and Daughter-in-law – Jesse and Carolyn Chapman

Siblings – Paul Lancaster and Lois Willis

Grandchildren – Renee (Mike) May and Todd (Lorie) Russell

Biel, Zakree Zaid Travis, age 20, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died March 7, 2015. Zak was a 2013 graduate of Mt. Juliet High School. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Patricia Wright.

 

He is survived by:

Farler, Bob “Pa”, age 78, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died March 19, 2015. Mr. Farler was the former owner of Bob’s Heating and Air Conditioning. He loved NASCAR, fishing, family and friends. Mr. Farler was the son of the late, Charlie Donald and Alma Lorene Hainline Farler. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Charlie Donald Farler, Jr. and Bailey Edward Farler.

He is survived by:

Wife of 61 years – Faylene “Nan” Farler

Children – Rhonda (Randy) Cane, Buddy (Antoinette Olesen) Farler,

Dedman, Candace Leigh, age 33, of Lebanon, TN, died March 23, 2015. Candace was a member of Laguardo Baptist Church and was a Registered Nurse at Summit Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, James F. Ethridge.

Interment will follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Jeffrey Dedman, Stephen Dedman, Eric Mosier, Greg Hammer, Jeff Hammer, Jeff Ethridge and Randy Wiseman.

Willingham, Arthur Gerald “Jerry”, age 76, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died March 24, 2015. Jerry was a member of Mt. Juliet Lodge #642 F&AM and the Mt. Juliet Senior Citizen Center. He was the son of the late, Melvin Thurman and Evelyn Ethel White Willingham. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ollie Stuart Willingham and sons, Jeffrey Willingham and Jai Willingham.

 

He is survived by:

Brother - James B. Willingham

Seeger, John Carl, age 90, of Mt. Juliet, TN and formerly of Mettawa, IL, died March 19, 2015. Mr. Seeger attended Providence United Methodist Church. He was a retired veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during WWII. Mr. Seeger was a member of the Del Webb Lake Providence Veterans Club and the Tyler Cates American Legion Post #281. He was an Eagle Scout and a supporter of the Boy Scouts of America. Mr. Seeger was the son of the late, John Carl Seeger, Sr. and Martha Helen Brennecke Seeger. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Anita Hawkins Seeger; son, John Seeger and daughter, Catherine Ann Seeger.

Gustavsen, Doris Hughes, age 86, of Mt. Juliet, TN and formerly of Stony Point, NY, went to be with her Lord on March 21, 2015. Doris was born August 1, 1928 in Pottsville, PA to the late Homer and Helen Hughes. She was a member of Celebration Lutheran Church as well as an active volunteer and member of various organizations in the community. Doris leaves those closest to her with fond memories of her love of life, cooking, playing the piano and her strong devotion to God. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Harold “Gus” Gustavsen; brother, James Hughes, granddaughter, Jessica Boone Graeff and son-in-law, Dennis Martin.

 

She is survived by:

Pierce, Sr., Roy Elmer, age 84, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died March 28, 2015. Mr. Pierce was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War. He retired from Pilot Freight Company with 30 years of service. Mr. Pierce was the son of the late, Otto and Nellie Bryant Pierce. He was also preceded in death by his son, Danny Webb Pierce and his brother, Odis Pierce.

Barton, Charles Franklin, age 81, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died March 29, 2015. Mr. Barton was retired from the U.S. Marine Corps. During his military service he served a Temporary Duty Assignment at Camp David during the Kennedy Administration. Mr. Barton was also a member of the American Legion Post 88. He was the son of the late, William Ish and Dixie Rogers Barton. Mr. Barton was also preceded in death by his siblings, Harold Barton, Edward Barton, Ronald Barton and Helen Nickens.

Eshbach, Helen T., age 90, of Hermitage, TN, died March 18, 2015. Mrs. Eshbach was of the Catholic faith. She volunteered to take communion to the nursing home and visited with Alzheimer’s patients. She loved playing Bridge. Mrs. Eshbach was preceded in death by her father and her mother, Helen O’Keefe Collin. She was also preceded in death by husband, Joseph W. Eshbach, Sr. in 1992 and her son, Joseph W. Eshbach, Jr. in 2010 and her sister, Pat O’Toole.

 

She is survived by:

Daughter – Lee (Gene) Elliott

 

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, April 11, 2015 at the McKendree Manor Chapel, 4347 Lebanon Rd., Hermitage, TN.
